A 15-year-old student of the Llandilo School of Special Education is in critical condition at hospital after being hit by a motor vehicle along the Sheffield main road in Westmoreland on Monday.
A video circulating on social media shows the teen moving back and forth across the roadway before stepping to one side, then attempting to dart across the other.
He was struck by an oncoming minivan during the attempt.
Residents from the area rushed the injured boy to hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
