Reggae Boyz Fall to Curaçao in World Cup Qualifiers

Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz suffered their first loss in the final round of the Concacaf World Cup Qualifiers after a 2-0 defeat to Curaçao at the Ergilio Hato Stadium on Friday night.

Curaçao took the lead in the 14th minute through Livano Comenencia, and Kenji Gorré sealed the win with a second goal in the 68th minute.

The victory propels Curaçao to the top of Group B with seven points, edging ahead of Jamaica, which remains on six. In the group’s other match, Trinidad and Tobago secured their first win of the campaign with a 3-0 triumph over Bermuda.

Trinidad now sits third on four points, while Bermuda remains at the bottom of the table without a point.
