St. Catherine, Jamaica — A 20-year-old driver from Portmore has been charged with malicious communication after allegedly leaking a sexually explicit video of his former girlfriend.
According to police reports, the accused and the complainant were involved in an intimate relationship in 2022, during which he allegedly recorded their sexual encounters. After the relationship ended, the woman reportedly asked him to delete the footage.
However, on October 11, 2025, the complainant received the same video via social media and later discovered it had been uploaded to a Telegram group named “Leaked and Exposed X-rated 18 Plus.”
The matter was reported to the police, prompting an investigation. The ex-boyfriend was taken into custody and reportedly granted officers access to his cellphone, where investigators found the same video in his gallery.
He was later charged under the Cybercrimes Act for malicious communication. A court date is being finalized for his appearance.
