The Portland police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was discovered after a fire destroyed his home in Drapers Heights early Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old bus driver Stevie “Ricky” Duncan.
Reports indicate that the Port Antonio Fire Station received a call at about 12:21 a.m. regarding a house fire. On arrival, firefighters found the two-bedroom dwelling fully engulfed in flames.
Following cooling-down operations, Duncan’s charred remains were recovered from the rubble inside the residence.
The cause of the blaze has not yet been determined, and investigations are ongoing.
