The Clarendon Police have seized a firearm and several rounds of ammunition during a targeted operation in Toby Heights, May Pen, on Thursday, October 2.
Reports from the May Pen Police are that around 5:45 p.m., a team of officers executed a search warrant at a one-bedroom board structure in the community.
During the search, lawmen discovered one Baikal pistol and six 9mm rounds of ammunition hidden in a drawer.
A teenage boy has since been taken into custody in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing.
