The police are searching for two men who robbed a female inDrive operator of her motor vehicle along Windsor Avenue in Kingston early Monday morning.
Reports indicate that around 2:10 a.m., the driver responded to a booking for a pickup at the location. Upon arrival, she saw two young men standing along the roadway and asked if they were the passengers who had requested the ride.
Both men confirmed and entered the vehicle—one sitting in the front passenger seat and the other in the back seat.
According to the police, the man in the front seat suddenly placed the vehicle in park and ordered the driver to exit the car. The second man then exited the car and moved to the driver’s seat.
The men subsequently drove away with the car, leaving the woman stranded at the scene.
Investigations into the robbery are ongoing.
