Alleged Grange Hill Gang Member Dies in Motorcycle Crash

A man said to be affiliated with the notorious Kings Valley Gang was killed in a two-motorcycle collision in Grange Hill, Westmoreland, last Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Alex Hill, otherwise called “Romaine”, of Bullstrod, Grange Hill. Police say Hill was linked to several serious crimes in the area.

According to reports, around 11:25 p.m., Hill was riding his motorcycle along the Grange Hill main road near the Top Geneva intersection when he collided head-on with another bike.

Both bikers were thrown from their motorcycles on impact. Hill sustained severe head and upper body injuries and was left unconscious, while the other rider suffered a broken hand and other injuries.

They were taken to the Savanna-la-Mar Public General Hospital, where Hill later died while undergoing treatment.

Investigators say Hill was a known member of the Kings Valley Gang and was implicated in multiple violent incidents, including two cases of wounding with intent in Linten Pen, Grange Hill, on June 5 and August 9, 2022.

He was also accused of being involved in a store robbery in Fullersfield District on April 9, 2025, and the murder of a man along the Crowder main road in Grange Hill on June 25, 2025.

Westmoreland has recorded a 61 per cent decline in murders this year, with 32 murders compared to 82 during the same period last year. Shootings have also dropped by nearly half, from 85 to 44 incidents, representing a 48 per cent reduction.
