A man is now in police custody following the seizure of a firearm, ammunition, and several imitation guns during a pre-dawn operation on Colbeck Avenue in St. Andrew on Saturday.
According to a police report, a team from the St. Andrew South Police Division conducted a targeted raid at the premises around 5:45 a.m.
During the search, officers reportedly discovered one 9mm pistol, a 9mm magazine, fourteen 9mm cartridges, and four imitation firearms.
The man found at the location was taken into custody in connection with the seizure and is expected to be charged following further investigations.
