Teen killed, younger brother held after stabbing in St. Elizabeth 

An 18-year-old is dead, and his 14-year-old brother is in police custody following a stabbing incident during a domestic dispute at their family home in Comma Pen, St. Elizabeth, on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Raheem Thompson, also known as “Shota,” a farmer of the community.

Reports from the police indicate that around 10:00 p.m., the brothers got into an argument that escalated into a physical altercation. A relative reportedly intervened in an attempt to calm the situation.

Shortly after, Thompson left the house and was later found suffering from a stab wound to the chest. He was rushed to the Mandeville Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The 14-year-old sibling has since been taken into police custody as investigations continue into the tragic incident.
