The police are searching for the father of 13-year-old Christiana High School student Shantina Sergeant, whose decomposed body was discovered inside a burnt-out refrigerator behind her family home in Baillieston, Clarendon, on Monday evening.
Sergeant was reported missing by her father on Friday, October 3. On Monday, October 6, a team from the Christiana Police Station conducted a search in the area and stumbled upon a body in an advanced state of decomposition, believed to be that of the missing student.

Superintendent Carey Duncan, head of the Manchester Police Division, confirmed that investigators are now trying to locate Sergeant’s father as part of their ongoing investigation.
