Taxi driver and teen killed in early morning crash in Portmore

The police are probing a fatal crash along the Hellshire main road in Portmore, St. Catherine, that claimed the lives of two people, including a teenage boy, early Saturday morning.

The deceased have been identified as 17-year-old Ryan “Dumpling” Tulloch, of Tawes Meadows, Spanish Town, and Jevaughn “Washie” Martin, a taxi driver from Portmore, both in St. Catherine.

Reports indicate that around 3:00 a.m., Martin was driving a Honda Shuttle when it collided with a BMW motor car along the roadway. Both vehicles sustained extensive damage, and all occupants suffered injuries.

Tulloch and Martin died on the spot.

The Portmore Traffic Department has since launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
